Washing your vehicles is one of the most important things that you can do to protect your investment. Making sure that everything is clean and running well doesn’t take too much time or work if you go about it the right way. One of the main problems in any industry with vehicles, however, is that we wait for something to break before replacing or fixing it. A similar attitude is taken with cleaning our vehicles. We only clean them if they are dirty or we do a quick job instead of taking the time to really figure out how we should be cleaning our property.

One of the first problems that we see with many companies is that they either wash their vehicles by hand or by running it through a car wash. While this may work just fine for your own smaller personal vehicle, it is never a good idea to do when it comes to a full sized or complicated vehicle such as a tractor trailer or construction equipment. We fully understand the feeling of pride and accomplishment that you may get from doing a job with your own two hands, but sometimes it is better to leave certain things to machines, as they do not have the possibility of human error.

Washing a vehicle by hand poses many concerns, especially if your vehicle needs to be sanitized. Not only is it fully possible for someone to put their hand down or a tool down on something that had previously been cleaned, it is much harder for humans to get into some of the smaller corners in order to appropriate clean things that machines can generally get into. Also, it is always better to have a machine deal with possibility toxic chemicals than risking the health of one of your human workers. After all, these machines are meant to deal with something like bleach while it can cause serious harm to our bodies if it touches the wrong spot or is accidentally ingested.

Even brushes like in a car wash may hold their own concerns. For example, they may keep bacteria on them which can then be transferred to something that is meant to be completely sanitized. This is especially important if you work with food. Check out Neptune’s products and see what would fit your company best to ensure that there is never any contamination.
