Corrosion is one of the main killers of vehicles that is almost impossible to stop once it has begun. For example, my personal vehicle had a lip on the inside of the wheel wells in the back where water collected without my knowledge. I only found out this existed once I noticed rust on the back of my car. Despite doing just about all I could to help stop the spread of rust, it eventually became too severe and I had to choose between replacing both back panels or getting a new car. While it was definitely time to get rid of that car for other reasons, it still bothered me that corrosion had gotten in despite how careful I am about it.

The sad truth is that corrosion can happen to anyone and any vehicle at any time. There are a couple of things that you can do, however, that do help to lengthen the life of your vehicle in regards to rust. This is especially important if you have an expensive vehicle for work, or even a whole fleet of them. Making sure that your vehicle is dry on the outside isn’t always enough to keep your transport safe. As with my old car, there may be spots that you cannot see under the body of the vehicle that trap water.

One of the best things you can do is to leave your car to dry in warm, sunny weather. If this is not a possibility then you should certainly get a blower which can quickly dry all of the water from your vehicle, both on top and on the undercarriage. Luckily for you, Neptune automated wash systems know how important this is. This means that we have built in ways for you to ensure that everything is nice and dry to help prevent moisture from setting in and rusting away crucial parts of your company’s vehicles.

If you are interested in seeing how we have managed this, look at the details about our systems on our website. You can choose which one you think would be best for your company, but you can also contact us and we can help you out if you are not sure. We want to make sure that your company does as well as possible, so we have done all we can to make sure that you get the best product on the market today!
