Right now, it is starting to get cooler during the days and even colder during the nights. While the harvest season is winding down for the most part, there are still a few things that can be brought into stores and sold at stands on farms for a few more weeks. Things like pumpkins, corn, and apples are normally huge draws around this time of year. Nothing says October like a carved pumpkin and some apple cider, and soon November will roll around with the pumpkin pies that so many of us love. Even if you don’t like any of these crops, the atmosphere alone is something I wish we could harvest. Hopefully one day science will come that far.

Until that happens, however, we will need to focus on what can actually be done. While things like apple picking are popular in many locations, there is no way that a group of people will be able to pick every apple from a tree just like most people don’t go out to a pumpkin patch to find their perfectly round and orange plant. This means that we can’t put away our farm equipment just yet.

Washing your farm equipment is extremely important in times like these. Think about if you have ever gone apple picking. Normally you can grab your own or there are bags that you can buy. I don’t know about you, but I always eat a couple before they make it home which means I don’t always get to wash them off first. While this isn’t ideal, it is the reality for many people who just want to take a nice, juicy bite. Imagine if you used equipment to grab those apples and hadn’t washed them. People could very easily get sick and then think of how bad you would feel!

Farm equipment is one of the most important things to wash consistently and the best way to make that happen is to use Neptune’s automated wash systems. Our machines use the least amount of water for the best clean and are guaranteed to make any equipment as clean as the day you bought it. You always want to make sure that there is no contamination and the only true way to do that is to keep a strict cleaning schedule. See what equipment would work best for you and give us a call to have it delivered today!
