There are so many options on so many things today. Things come in so many different sizes, colors, and shapes that it can be easy to get lost in the depth of the market of whatever it is you’re thinking of buying. There is also a bad problem of difficult to understand advertising. A few months ago, a picture of a man with a dog toy went viral because what he spent a simple $10.00 on turned out to be larger than the dog he bought it for. If measurements are either not noted or not paid attention to, it can get rather confusing or even troublesome. Something tells me the dog didn’t mind too much though.
You, however, may. When making purchases for your company, every detail is incredibly important. This is true no matter what the purchase is. Even if you are simply buying coffee for the break room, you need to pay attention to simple things such as decaf or caffeinated. You certainly don’t want a bunch of people walking around half asleep because they are all suddenly going through caffeine withdrawal. Every little thing makes a company run like a well-oiled machine. What happens, however, when a machine is what needs to be purchased?
In this field, a wash rack is something that can be incredibly useful and irreplaceable if you have a full fleet of trucks or other equipment that has a tendency to get dirty or needs constant sanitation. Many things go into the purchase of one of these, though, and color is likely the last thing on your mind. The first thing you need to think about is how much power you need. If you have a fleet of regular trucks, a simple automated wash system is fine. If, however, you have something that transports produce and other food, or that is exposed to extremely dirty situations, you will likely want a heavy duty wash system.
The biggest thing, however, is the size of the wash rack. If you purchase a rack that won’t fit half of your trucks, it will do you no good. You need to make sure that the wash rack has enough room on either side for the nozzles to actually do their jobs and most importantly you need to be able to get to every spot of surface on your vehicle. Look at the measurements on Neptune’s site to see which one will best fit your needs.
