Mud and Slime

It’s the time of year where it starts to get warmer, and we mean really warm! While this is good in some situations, it can cause a bit of a mess. If you are an area that gets snow during winter and spring months, the melting that signifies the beginning of spring or summer also means that the ground is extremely wet. This means that mud and other slime is going to start being a problem on a lot of routes. The roads are generally a bit slushy as well, but mud tends to dry and cake on. This not only looks unprofessional, but can be damaging to other plants and vegetation depending on where you are traveling. It is important to keep your trucks clear of these kinds of contaminants as much as possible.

When a vehicle is seen with large amounts of mud, it tends to make us think that the owner doesn’t care much about how they are perceived. This is true of cars that we see on the road, but it is especially true when there is a company name attached to the dirt. How many times have you been driving down the road and seen a truck with things drawn into the dirt on the back? Not only does this dirt look bad, but it causes wear and tear, and makes your vehicles and equipment deteriorate much faster.

Getting mud, dirt, and slime off of the trucks that are a part of your company doesn’t need to be a difficult or time consuming affair. In fact, a Neptune automated wash system can make the chore quick and easy. With our touchless washing capabilities, we make sure that you get an incredible clean every time.
